Once more our Clinic was called on to intervene in a very special case:

Nikiema F. is 28 years old and lives in Karpala. He came to us on account of extensive ulceration of the right foot, which had developed about a month ago following an injury caused by the pedal on his moped. He was referred to the Yalgado OUEDRAOGO Hospital for treatment of a deep wound.

Nikiema had no financial means to pay for the treatment and so he came to AMPO with an open wound to ask for help. AMPO covered the costs of the prescriptions, tests and treatment.

We wish Nikiema a speedy recovery and hope he will soon be able to return to work.

We depend on your support to help these people. Medical assistance in health centres or hospitals has to be paid for in cash. Too many people cannot afford it and queue up outside the AMPO Clinic for help.
