The new football pitch at AMPO has been officially opened. The project was the result of collaboration between the Edmond Tapsoba Foundation, COTECSOL and a donor, who financed the playing field. The official opening was attended by staff, guests and of course the children from the orphanages.

The focus was on the girls and boys who promptly stormed the pitch, obviously eager to play. Representatives of AMPO and the foundation highlighted the importance of sport within the community in terms of fairness and equal opportunity. The pitch is available to all of the children and is there to promote physical activity and solidarity.

The new football field is a sustainable place for encounter far beyond sports activities.
